Grassroots Innovation Camp & Awards 2026
A camp, an exhibition and an awards ceremony for innovators aged 6–16 in Nankandulo Sub-County, Kamuli District. Four award categories, certificates for every participant, and a model built to be repeated across Uganda.

Building the Center of the Future
A workshop that does not pack up at the end of the week. The camps prove the demand — the Center of the Future is the answer to what happens the other fifty-one weeks of the year, a permanent place to make, learn and trade, tied to all four thematic areas.
What comes next
National outreach
The Grassroots Innovation Camp is envisioned as a national outreach programme that will expand to other districts and regions of Uganda, creating a sustainable platform for discovering and nurturing innovation beyond major urban centres.
Nankandulo is the first edition, not the only one. Everything about the 2026 camp — the judging criteria, the budget lines, the certificate templates — is being built so that a partner in another district can run it without starting from scratch.
Two doors, one story
